The European Policy relies upon Intelligent Transport Systems and Satellite Services to improve the quality of the road transport service, the safety, the environmental sustainability and, finally, enhancing the access to mobility as stated by the European treaty.

a lecture from a higher officer of the European Commission will take place. The lecture, in English language, will point out innovative European policies and programs for improving the road transport (European ITS Action Plan and Galileo Programme).
